I have been baking for as long as I can remember. For me, it’s something that de-stresses me on a rough day and brings me up when I’m down. I find the act of grabbing a recipe and just making it work to be exhilarating. I always find it funny when people talk about how much of a science baking is. I was never good at science or math. Really if it wasn’t related to Literature or Art, it wasn’t my best subject. Baking, that I am great at. I make messes. I overflow pots. I forget ingredients. I make do with what I have. At the end of the day, I have something delicious to treat my loved ones to, so who cares if it wasn’t a “perfect” process. I share tips and recipes.
I am a book worm and a half. So much, I’ve determined I like the term book dragon even more. It just feels more appropriate. I love to read. Anything. Everything. I can’t help myself. Being able to read and talk books is a happy place for me. I share reviews and general bookish excitement.
I am 34 and I live with Mom. Mom is in her sixties and is coming off a couple years of not-so-great health. She is absolutely one of my favorite people and when her health declined, I earned a new title: caregiver. I talk about that stress and mention her a lot.
I live pay check to pay check and am not ashamed about it. Being broke is its own kind of stress.
I am on an ever moving fitness journey and I love it. I share lots about that too.
Worry Free is a space for me to share whatever part of my life I need to in that moment. It’s a chance to de-stress and really just throw out the things I love talking about.
